ACCOMMODATIONS & TRAVEL
University of Washington Dormitory Accommodations
Comfortable and convenient dorm rooms will be available at very reasonable rates during the workshop. The dorm rooms are the closest accommodations to the meeting and meal rooms. We are offering both single and double rooms. The use of dorm rooms will include a breakfast allowance via meal card for Sunday through Friday.
Double Dorm Room - 6 nights including 6 breakfasts - $250 includes tax
This rate is for one person who will share a dorm room with one other paying person. You may designate who your roommate will be, or you may request that a roommate (same gender) be assigned to your room.
Single Dorm Room - 6 nights including 6 breakfasts - $360 includes tax
This rate is for one person in a dorm room. Guests are not allowed to stay in the same room. If you are bringing a guest, they must register and pay to stay in the dorms.
Dorm rooms are not appropriate for couples as they are arranged by gender. All rooms are furnished with twin beds and local-access telephones with voice mail. Bed linen and towels are provided. Beds are made and fresh towels are provided daily. Rooms share community bath facilities. Smoking is prohibited in all sleeping rooms and public areas of the residence halls.

The check-in desk is staffed 24 hours a day. When you check in, you will be issued a key, a building entrance card and possibly a bathroom key. Lost keys present a serious security risk for the residence halls. A room key lost or not returned will result in an immediate lock change for which you will be charged US$85.
Dorm room reservations may be made on your workshop registration form. Additional nights before and after the workshop are available.
CANCELLATION OF DORM ROOM RESERVATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED UNTIL JUNE 23, 2006 AND WILL BE ELIGIBLE FOR A FULL REFUND OF DORM RENTAL FEES. NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED FOR CANCELLATION AFTER JUNE 23, 2006.

The workshop has negotiated special rates and reserved blocks of rooms at four campus hotels. All hotels are within walking distance to the University of Washington meeting facilities.
