ABSTRACT SUBMITTER REGISTRATION

Submitting abstract authors must register for the Workshop in order to submit an abstract. A link to submit an abstract will be provided in your registration email. The abstract submission deadline is Tuesday, April 10, 2012. However, abstract submitters applying for Pre-Workshop travel support must submit the abstract by March 22, 2012.  Submission of one abstract is included in the registration fee. A single author may submit more than one abstract for a fee of US $100 per additional abstract. If you submit more than one abstract, you must note this on your Workshop registration form and pay the additional US $100 per abstract fee.  You may return to your registration form through April 10 to pay for additional abstract submissions, if needed.

 

GENERAL REGISTRATION

Workshop registration opens Wednesday, February 1 and will close on Sunday, July 29, 2012. On-site registration will be accepted on a space-availability basis. Women, minority participants and participants from countries where funding for science is severely limited are strongly encouraged to attend.

Workshop registration fee includes:

  • Submission of one (1) abstract
  • Name badge and entry to all symposia, workshops and poster sessions
  • Registration materials, including the IHW abstract book
  • All scheduled workshop meals
    • 5 lunches: Saturday through Wednesday
    • 2 dinners: Sunday and Tuesday
    • Opening Reception on Saturday
  • Closing Banquet on Wednesday

 

 

 

LETTER OF INVITATION

After completion of the online registration form, you will receive a link to create a letter of invitation for use in visa applications.

 

You will need to submit your Name, Date of Birth, Passport Number, and Nationality in order to generate the letter.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY

Written cancellation received by Friday, July 6, 2012 entitles registrant to a full refund less a $150 processing fee. No refunds will be granted for cancellations received after Friday, July 6, 2012, but substitutions may be made until the start of the Workshop. Refunds of credit card payments must be made to the same account used for the payment.

SUBSITUTION POLICY

If you are unable to attend IHW 2012, payment of a $50 administrative fee enables you to transfer your registration to another person by notifying IHW 2012 c/o Conference Solutions in writing by email, fax, or mail.  Substitutions will be transferred at the same rate as the original registration.  Substitutions can be made up until the pre-registration deadline, or at the onsite registration desk. 

 

HOW TO REGISTER

Full payment in US dollars is required to complete registration. Registrations are not complete until the payment has been received.

 

Register online using our secure site and pay by credit card (Visa, MasterCard or American Express). You must have the correct security code from the card to complete your online payment. Print the confirmation as your payment receipt. Please note that the vendor on your credit card statement will be listed as Conference Solutions.

 

For payment by check, complete and submit the online form. Print a copy of your registration confirmation and mail it with the check to the address indicated in the confirmation message. Check payments must be issued in US dollars by a bank with branches located in the United States.

 

For payment by bank wire transfer, complete and submit the online form. An invoice will be sent to you via email containing the bank account information needed to arrange the funds transfer. Only non-U.S. institutions may request to pay by direct bank transfer. A USD $35 processing fee will be added to the invoice.
