About ICC

Gent ICC is located within a tranquil oasis in the middle of Ghent's largest park, the Citadelpark. This is the largest park in Ghent with dozens of types of trees, some of which are very rare.

Gent ICC has two neighbors within the park: the world renowned SMAK or City Museum for Contemporary Art, and the MSK or Museum of Fine Arts. Together the three make up a dynamic Citadel site.

The direct proximity of the internationally renowned UGent (University of Ghent) and the active student life that goes with it are part of this vibrant city with its numerous bars, restaurants and shops.

Bus and Tram

The following bus routes have a stop on Ledeganckstraat, directly opposite the main entrance to Gent ICC: Routes 34, 35, 36, 55, 57, 58, 65, 70, 71, 72, 73, 74, 76, 77, 78.

All these bus routes run along Ledeganckstraat to Gent-Sint-Pieters railway station. Tram line 1 connects the train station Gent-Sint-Pieters with the city centre (e.g. Castle of the Counts-Gravensteen) and can be used to reach the Congress Venue (ICC Ghent) from downtown: about every 6-15 min, from 6 am until 11 pm. Exit from the tram at stop “Van Monckhovenstraat” and walk about 7 min across the Citadelpark to get to the entrance of the Gent ICC.
