HOTEL SCAM ALERT   It has come to our attention that scammers are targeting our meeting attendees and exhibitors, attempting to solicit unauthorized hotel bookings. IHW (and their conference planner Conference Solutions) has NOT enlisted the services of a third party to handle hotel reservations, so you should never receive a direct solicitation from anyone asking you to make or change a hotel reservation. Valid emails regarding IHW will come from @conferencesolutionsinc.com only.    Please be aware of any message coming from sources not affiliated with IHW. Avoid interaction with them.

 

IHW 2023 will take place on the University of Montana campus. Several accommodation options are available to accommodate as many price points as possible. All hotels have negotiated a discounted group rate for attendees. Information on each is listed below. 

 

For a more economical option, attendees may also choose to stay on the University of Montana campus in residence halls. Staying on campus will also allow you to be just steps away from all workshop activities. Reserving a room on campus will be done as a part of the registration process. Click here to register. 

 

Staying on Campus

 

The University of Montana is offering residence halls to attendees at just $400 for a 6-night stay. Rooms will be shared with one other IHW attendee, and roommate requests can be noted at the time of registration. Please note the dorms do NOT have air conditioning. 

 

 

Staying in Missoula

 

IHW 2023 has negotiated discounted group rates at three hotels in Missoula. Each location is within a 5-minute drive and 20-minute walk to campus. Each location has its own booking link, please select your preference and follow the corresponding link. 

 

Holiday Inn Missoula Downtown

The Holiday Inn is offering several different room types at $259 / night (+ taxes and fees).

Travel and Transportation

Missoula Montana Airport currently supports service from the following airlines: Alaska, Allegiant, American Airlines, Delta, and United.

The University of Montana is located about 8 miles from the Missoula Montana Airport. Transportation options from the airport include ride-share and taxi services. 

 

Family Care Options

Missoula offers a number of family care options for those traveling with children, conveniently located within 2 miles of the University of Montana Campus.

All of their skilled, qualified educators and staff members are engaged in education classes and training at levels above those required by the state of Montana. Honeybear Daycare Center also is conveniently located close to downtown and the University of Montana, making it easy for parents to drop off and pick up their kids. Their drop-in daycare center accepts children from 12 months to 12 years of age and partners with several other organizations throughout the community to provide safe and reliable care.
