EXCURSION OPTIONS IN PORTLAND

On Monday, July 15th, IHW will provide various excursion options following the day's final event. This presents a wonderful opportunity for participants to discover the vibrant city of Portland and all it has to offer. Secure your spot for excursions when registering, with all associated fees payable at the time of registration. Further details about each individual excursion are outlined below.

	Option 1- Kayaking Trip $65 per person due at the time of registration | 3 Hours Embark on a Kayak Excursion on the scenic Columbia River near Jantzen Beach. Rentals include paddle, life jacket (PFD), and whistle for a safe and enjoyable experience. Begin your adventure with a convenient 1:00 pm pick-up, and after 3 hours of exploration, conclude your journey with a drop-off back at the Hilton Hotel. Discover the beauty of the river!
	Option 2- Multnomah Falls $40 per person due at the time of registration | 4 Hours Embark on a breathtaking Multnomah Falls Excursion with a 1:00 pm pick-up and 5:00 pm drop-off back at the Hilton Hotel. From the Multnomah Falls visitor center, a steep trail leads to the iconic Benson Bridge. For those seeking adventure, continue to the top of the cliff and explore a short spur trail to a captivating viewing area at the falls' summit. The round trip to the top and back covers 2.4 miles, offering both hiking enthusiasts and leisure seekers a memorable experience. Alternatively, indulge in the charm of the Multnomah Falls Lodge & Restaurant, or enjoy the lower viewing platform and nearby trails open to all visitors.
	Option 3- Portland Japanese Garden $40 per person due at the time of registration | 4 Hours Experience serenity on the Portland Japanese Garden Excursion with a 1:00 pm pick-up and 5:00 pm drop-off at the Hilton Hotel. For over 50 years, this haven of tranquility has graced Washington Park in Portland, OR. Immerse yourself in the beauty of eight distinct garden spaces, from the lush greens of the Strolling Pond Garden to the minimalistic elegance of the Sand and Stone Garden. 	Option 4- Winery Tour $140 per person due at the time of registration | 4 Hours Indulge in a delightful Winery Excursion with a 1:00 pm pick-up and 5:00 pm drop-off at the Hilton in downtown Portland. Immerse yourself in guided wine tours near Portland, allowing you to explore vineyards and wineries while tasting to your heart's content, all without the worry of driving. Let seasoned wine experts turn your pinot reverie into reality as you sample a diverse array of the region's finest wines. 	Option 5- Craft Beer Tour $100 per person due at the time of registration | 4 Hours 1:45 pm pick-up and 5:00 pm drop-off at the Hilton in downtown Portland. Visit top-rated breweries in charming Southeast Portland. Learn about Portland’s outstanding craft beer scene and have a lot of fun at the same time. Portland has been brewing craft beer since Oregon’s founding in the mid 1800s. High-quality water and ideal conditions for growing hops set the stage for Oregon’s vibrant beer industry. With over 70 breweries, plus beer-centric events year round, “Beervana” has become one of Portland’s many nicknames. Local snacks and beer samples are included. Be sure to bring your ID!
