Submission & Registration Policies
  • Each Workshop registration includes one abstract submission.
  • Additional abstracts may be submitted for US $100 per abstract. If submitting more than one abstract, this must be indicated on the Workshop registration form and the additional fee paid accordingly.
  • The submitting author must be the presenting author.
  • A limited number of abstracts will be selected for oral presentations.
  • Abstracts selected for oral presentation are also required to present a poster.
  • All accepted abstracts will be published in the IHW 2026 Abstract Book.
  • If your abstract is NOT accepted for either a poster or an oral presentation, you will be refunded your Workshop registration fee upon request.
  • If your abstract is accepted for presentation, poster or oral, the standard cancellation policy applies.
 

 

Abstract Submission Procedure

Once you register for the Workshop, you will receive a submission link in your registration confirmation email. Follow these steps to complete your submission:

  1. Create a new user account using your email address and password
    • Save your login details for future access
  2. Read and accept the Deadlines and Procedures Agreement
  3. Click Begin a New Abstract
  4. Enter your abstract title
    • This Is a Sample of Title Case
    • Titles are limited to 150 characters
    • Only use all capital letters where necessary
  5. Select your presentation preference:
    • Oral & Poster
      • If your abstract is not selected for oral presentation at the Workshop, you may indicate the satellite workshop for potential presentation.
    • Poster Only
  6. Indicate whether you are applying for an award
  7. Enter Presenting/Submitting Author information
  8. Enter Additional Authors
    • Authors appear in the order entered
    • Do not enter names in all capital letters
    • The primary author will be underlined and their email published
  9. Paste your abstract text
    • Maximum 300 words (excess words will be excluded)
  10. Review formatting and special characters
  11. Enter award-related information (if applicable)
  12. Save your abstract
    • You may edit your submission at any time before the deadline
  • If your abstract is not selected for oral presentation at the Workshop, you may indicate satellite workshops for potential presentation.
 

 

Acceptance of Abstracts
  • All submissions must comply with stated guidelines and deadlines
  • A confirmation email will be sent upon successful submission
  • The Organizing Committee reserves the right to:
    • Accept or reject submissions
    • Determine presentation format
  • Acceptance notifications will be sent by 15 May 2026
