Transportation from Lisbon International Airport to Lisbon City Center and Estoril:
Estoril is about 20 miles west of the Lisbon Airport. Ground transportation options at Lisbon Airport (LIS) include public transportation via aerobus, bus, airport shuttle bus and train. Other options are taxis. All of these transportation methods are good options for travelling around Lisbon and Portugal with ease. Ground Transportation is located outside of arrivals and departures.

Aerobus and Train
Bus number 91 travels between the Lisbon City centre and the airport. The bus service is available from 07:45–20:45 and runs every 20 minutes. The Aerobus will take you to the train station (Cais de Sodre) at a cost of 3€, where you can transfer to the train (cost 2€) and continue along the coastal route to Estoril. City Bus and Train
City buses 44 and 45 cost only €1.20 one-way and depart every 15-30 minutes 05:00–13:40 from the main road in front of the terminal building. They pass through Praça dos Restauradores en route to the Cais do Sodré train station. From here you can continue by rail to Estoril.

Taxis
There are two taxi stands inside the airport perimeter. They are both located outside the Departures and the Arrivals areas. Fares are not charged on fixed rates, and travellers are requested to agree on fares prior to getting into a taxi. The meter should read €2.35 (daytime pick-up) or €2.50 (at night) at the commencement of the ride. Fares are 20% higher on weekends, holidays and at night. The approximate cost for transportation to the train station (Cais de Sodre) is 8-9€. Direct taxi transfers from the airport to Estoril cost in the region of 80€ and can be booked upon arrival at the information kiosk located adjacent to the airport terminal exit.

Car Rental
Car rental companies represented at the airport include Avis, Budget, Europcar, Hertz, National and Sixt. The journey from the Lisbon Airport to Estoril takes approximately 20-30 minutes.
